Back story: Driving the streets of our town one night we ran into the station scrolling around the dial and found excellent sounds of jazz, folk, rock, blues...alternative radio.  It's a non-profit organization run by folks out of Mexico City and is therefore free to air educational and political viewpoints not often found on commercial stations. I reached out and told them I have over 40,000 mp3s on a hard-drive I brought to Mexico of strictly non-commercial music, and that they could sample my taste by checking out the 19 playlists I currently have on my Originals Vinyl Playlists site on YouTube. 

One thing led to another and it turns out I'm going to be a music programmer every Thursday moving forward. I won't be talking about the music, or talking at all - It'll be great fun for me and, hopefully, a pleasure for music fans of varied taste. - Jim Haas
